Agrosimex, a trusted client of ours for several years, is a well-established company in the Polish agricultural market with over three decades of experience. They provide a wide range of products tailored to the needs of professional farmers, gardening enthusiasts, and hobbyists alike. Their catalog includes plant protection products, fertilizers, irrigation systems, tools, and accessories, catering to diverse agricultural and gardening requirements.
In addition to their products, Agrosimex supports their customers with informative blog posts, providing expert advice and industry insights. These blog posts—focused on orchard management, agriculture, and vegetable farming—reflect their commitment to helping customers make informed decisions.
Our Previous Collaboration
Our partnership with Agrosimex began with the development of their first e-commerce platform, which utilized Magento 2. The platform featured integrations with their ERP system for real-time inventory and pricing updates, as well as tools like User.com for marketing automation and Baselinker for multi-channel order management.
This solution allowed Agrosimex to establish a strong online presence, streamlining the shopping experience for their customers and improving operational efficiency.

Design Adaptation
The provided mock-ups were visually striking but created with large, high-resolution screens in mind. Adapting these layouts for smaller, more commonly used devices required a thoughtful approach to maintain usability and consistency. This involved redesigning layouts to ensure functionality and aesthetics were preserved across all screen sizes.
Content Migration
Migrating blogs from WordPress and product descriptions from Magento to Storyblok was a task that required meticulous planning. The data needed to be restructured into a modular format compatible with Storyblok, all while ensuring that nothing was lost or misaligned during the transfer. Product descriptions posed an additional challenge due to formatting limitations within the new system, adding another layer of complexity.
Custom Features
Agrosimex’s platform needed to do more than rely on standard solutions. We developed custom components, such as advanced filters, dynamic navigation menus, and product modals, to meet their specific needs. These features required detailed planning and execution to ensure they aligned with the client’s vision and integrated seamlessly into the platform.
Performance Optimization
Handling a multiple product attributes and several thousand products while introducing new features like rich product cards and personalized sliders called for careful optimization. Achieving fast load times and smooth performance, despite the sheer volume of data, integrations and GraphQL API, was one of the most technically demanding aspects of the project.

Design Adaptation
The mock-ups provided were adjusted for responsiveness and usability on various devices. To ensure consistency across the platform, we standardized elements like buttons, colors, and typography.
These adjustments allowed the design to maintain its visual appeal while functioning effectively on smaller screens.
Streamlined Content Migration
We migrated thematic blogs from WordPress and product descriptions from Magento into Storyblok. This process involved converting unstructured content into a modular format compatible with Storyblok’s system.
Addressing markdown limitations in Storyblok for product descriptions ensured the content remained accessible and manageable by the client.
Custom Development
Advanced filters were created to handle over 140 product attributes, enabling precise navigation for users. Other key components, such as navigation menus and product modals, were custom-built to meet Agrosimex’s requirements.
These components were seamlessly integrated into Magento 2 and Vue Storefront 2, using Nuxt 2’s modular architecture to facilitate scalability and efficient maintenance.
Performance Enhancements
Lazy loading was implemented to optimize data loading, while GraphQL queries were extended to streamline backend communication. Images were optimized using IPX, improving load times without compromising quality. These measures ensured the platform performed efficiently, even with its extensive datasets.Integration Upgrades
Existing integrations with tools like User.com and the ERP system were maintained while incorporating new functionalities. Personalized sliders were powered by User.com, and additional Magento plugins, such as Free Gift and Special Promotions, supported dynamic promotional campaigns. Baselinker continued to manage orders from various sales channels.Efficient Transition
The platform migration was carefully coordinated, completing in less than six hours with minimal downtime. The transition maintained all critical functionalities and ensured uninterrupted service for both Agrosimex and their customers.
