How to Tell if Your Bra Fits Correctly?
The cup should be entirely filled by the breast without any gapping. The center gore (the middle part of the bra) and the underwires should lay flat against your chest, with the ends of the wires pointing toward the center of your armpit. "Double-boob" effects or bulging over the cups indicate the bra is too tight. When you lift your arms, your breasts should not "escape" from underneath. The underband should be stable and firm enough that you feel proper support; you should be able to fit exactly two fingers underneath it. The straps should neither slip off nor dig into your shoulders. If the back clasp sits higher than the front gore, the straps are likely too tight and need to be loosened to avoid chafing or neck tension. A properly fitted bra—even in larger sizes—should never restrict you; it should be comfortable, pinch-free, and provide secure support even during movement.
